Pierre Pelech has come to the desert by way of Polynesia and the Caribbean. His interesting journey began in France where Pierre developed a profound interest in creative cooking and innovative ideas in the kitchen, it was in various places on the French Riviera such as La Reserve in Beaulieu, Le Metropole in Monte Carlo and Eden Rock at the Hotel du Cap D'Antibes that Pierre learned to cook for the rich and famous of the world.
Hunting Hartford discovered Pierre's talent and made him an offer he could not refuse. Pierre became his personal chef and moved to Nassau, Bahamas on Mr. Hartford's private island, named Paradise Island. Pierre than became co-owner/chef of the Los Feliz Inn in Los Angeles for twenty years..
After this, Pierre took his talent to the island of Saint Martin to manage the Alizea Hotel and its award- winning restaurant with his wife Esther. Chased away by José and Lenny two very nasty tropical hurricanes, Pierre ended up in the Coachella Valley in the kitchen of the prestigious Bighorn Gulf Club.
Today, Pierre is warmly welcoming his friends and guests in his new home in Palm Desert where he intends to treat each of them to his best epicurean touch.
